Symbolic Links Not Followed

Sep 01, 2010  Hi Ryan, This is interesting, I just checked the 8.0 GUI at one of my Linux iDAs and can clearly see while browsing for content the symbolic links show up as symbolic links, and are not traversable. Apache does not show and does not follow SymLinks. Ask Question. Up vote 1 down vote favorite. But this link for some reason is not followed. It points to the dir on other hard drive. First choice for mac I can create the link just fine. I can create the link just fine. I can go to the Server 2008 box and double click on the link in explorer to open the target file. Create a symbolic link inside a deployed application and attempt to access it from the web.
