To take on Arcadia University for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Championship crown. The tournament, originally consisting of four teams, Cabrini, Arcadia, Hood and Bethany, was altered to a two team tournament due to the projected rain for this weekend.

Hood Travels To Arcadia For Mac
The Cavaliers will face the Knights in a best of three series tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. If the two teams split games, there will be a third meeting on Sunday at 10 a.m. This marks the third straight year the Blue and White has been awarded a spot in the ECAC South softball tournament. In 2014, Cabrini fell 3-0 to McDaniel in the quarterfinals and in last year's quarterfinals, the Cavaliers suffered a 6-2 loss to Alvernia.
Cabrini and Arcadia last met in Radnor, Pa. On April 21 last year, when the teams spit games. The Blue and White dropped game one 7-5 but battled back for an 11-10 win in the nightcap. Cabrini improved to 24-16 after going 1-1 in this year's CSAC softball tournament. The Blue and White scored a 3-1 win over Marywood, before it fell 9-4 to Neumann in the title game.

Neumann scored once in the fifth and added three insurance runs in the sixth, before capturing its second consecutive CSAC crown. After going 3-3 at the plate against the Pacers, Ferrraro added another 3-3 performance from the plate against the Knights, as the Cavaliers out hit Neumann 14-11 in the loss. Cabrini's.369 batting average is good for eighth in the country, while its.516 slugging percentage and.423 on base percentage ranks 15th and 17th, respectively. The Blue and White will continue to look to Ferraro, who ranks fifth in the nation with a.590 on base percentage and 13th with a.504 batting average. The sophomore leads the team with 21 stolen bases, 23 walks, 39 runs scored and 58 hits.
The Cavaliers will also lean on Savar to get it done in the batter's box, as the junior's 11 home runs, 35 RBI and.629 slugging percentage are good for first on the team.
