Is Pioneers MCACC significantly inferior to Audyssey? I know very little about competing technologies and I'm looking for some expert advice. Download utorrent old version for mac. Thanks in advance! I am looking to purchase a new sub and want room correction for my whole system. I am considering getting a Pioneer VSX-1123 to replace a 2007 Onkyo with no room correction because I want auto calibration. HDMI Inputs are important me (6+ I would think).

I would like to spend around $300 (Amazon has a used Pioneer VSX-1123 for around $300). Lastly, I am looking to spend a smaller amount now while Atmos gets worked out and perhaps in the future I will invest more in a higher end Receiver. A single Seaton Submersive cannot take advantage of SubEQ; XT32 will work just fine (and will also work with multiple subs, it just won't set level/delay independently for two subs, which is what SubEQ provides ). Ipod ripping software for mac. I wouldn't be super concerned about the 2nd subwoofer capability as often you are better off with an outboard device to blend multiple units and then let Audyssey correct the blended set of subs. A better investment of the $$$ would be to get a USB microphone to help see what the sub does at different locations and how well Audyssey corrects the system at important locations and for fine tuning of the subwoofer's crossover to the main speakers.

I used to have an SVS AS-EQ1 With Audessey Multeq XT and even though it did a fantastic job on the to subs Attached it did an even better job if I manually calibrated it first. Automatic room correction isn't Perfect and by doing some pre-correction manual calibration make the job easier for the receiver. Does the HP actually have its own user-controlled DSP? Thought Mark had to set that up? Sure, if you have such dsp at your fingertips do that first, but many subs don't have such let alone a standalone unit like your SVS or a miniDSP etc. Was thinking more of calibration to be a level calibration rather than eq/correctio for your room, too. I always use REW to set up phase and Level on the subs first.

I don't have an eq now but an Anti-mode is on its way. When it comes I will setup the subs With REW again to make sure they are at their best, then use Anti-mode calibration and finally YPAO. Hopefully this will correct a rather bumpy curve.
